According to a claim in the Turkish media, West Ham United have joined the race to sign Besiktas attacking midfielder Ernest Muci.
The Albania international has already been linked with a move to the Premier League this week following claims of an offer from Aston Villa.
Takvim today report on the latest developments regarding Muci’s future at Besiktas and they say the Super Lig club are looking to offload him this summer. The Istanbul side currently have a surplus of foreign players within their squad and need to reduce this to meet quota rules.
Muci and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are two of the foreign players they are looking to sell before the window closes and the reports states West Ham and Aston Villa are the clubs interested in signing the Albanian.
Takvim report if any club comes an offer north of €14m then this is likely to trigger a sale. The youngster only signed for Besiktas during the January window for a fee of €10m after impressing for Legia Warsaw in last season’s Europa Conference League.
