West Ham United’s Nikola Vlašić has been on loan at Torino since last summer and the latter have an option to make his stay permanent for €13m.
On Tuesday, Tuttosport reported the Serie A side don’t intend to exercise the buying option and want the Hammers to give them a discount of over €4m to buy the 25-year-old.
La Stampa, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, now explain that West Ham don’t want to give any discount to the Turin club for Vlašić.
The Croatia international struggled earlier this year but has regained his form in the past few weeks. He hasn’t given any signals about wanting to continue or about leaving Torino as his immediate focus is to finish the season on a positive note.
David Moyes’ side, who are attentive to his situation, aren’t willing to lower their demands to part ways with the attacking midfielder permanently.
Over at Torino, it’s important for their manager, Ivan Jurić, to make the West Ham man’s stay permanent.
With West Ham getting tough with their stance on Vlašić, Torino have a decision to make.
