Two days ago, Bolavip Brasil reported West Ham United and Fulham have knocked on São Paulo president Julio Casares’ door for Pablo Maia.

It was also stated the Brazilian club plan to raise funds and have identified the 21-year-old as one of their sale candidates in the next window.

West Ham and Fulham seem to be ready to take further steps. That’s according to journalist André Hernan, who state the two London clubs ‘promise to return’, likely with an offer, to sign the midfielder.

Over at Bolavip Brasil, they have relayed claims made by Hernan on his YouTube channel and also provide additional information on this case.

The Hammers and Marco Silva’s side are promising that they will ‘return with maximum force’ to try to land the player. The English clubs aim to ‘go strong’, after having already made contact to sign him.

It’s further claimed Maia ‘should leave’ São Paulo for Europe and a deal could be carried out for around R$60m [€11m] in the summer.

With West Ham and Fulham both keen to secure Maia’s services, it’ll be interesting to see who will end up winning the battle.
