Inter’s Yann Bisseck featured for the side in their Serie A draw against Genoa on the opening day.
The defender’s presence proved to be unfortunate towards the end of the game, as his handball led to Genoa equalising and making it 2-2.
Bisseck joined Inter from AGF and has proved to be a reliable squad player for them. He could have, as it has been reported today, joined West Ham last summer until the Nerazzurri sealed their move.
Inter News have reported that before Bisseck joined Inter, West Ham had actually made a ‘super offer’ for the German but it was rejected. There was also keen interest from Real Madrid.
West Ham’s chances of going back in for Bisseck are rather low as Inter owners see the 23-year-old as a template for players that they want to keep.
The ex-Koln man has generally been reliable for Inter under Simone Inzaghi and could go on to become a regret for the Hammers.
