West Ham United and Ipswich Town are showing interest in Middlesbrough’s Emmanuel Latte Lath.

On November 25th, we covered claims from Italy which stated West Ham sent a scout to watch the striker in action for Middlesbrough against Oxford United. He had impressed the Hammers in that tie, managing three goals and an assist.

TuttoMercatoWeb now report that West Ham are joined by Ipswich Town in the chase for the Middlesbrough player.

The Ivory Coast international has scored eight goals and registered two assists from 21 Championship matches for Middlesbrough this season.

West Ham and Ipswich Town are interested in securing the 25-year-old’s services and the report states the Premier League duo have requested information about him.

TMW state there’ll be ‘developments in coming weeks’, indicating West Ham and Ipswich Town could take further steps to sign him. In addition to this, Atlanta United FC and unnamed clubs from the Bundesliga are also looking at the Middlesbrough player.

Emmanuel Latte Lath’s agent Matthias Veneroso has opened the door for him to leave Boro in January.

“He’s back to scoring. Eight goals in the first part of the season and we expect something to happen in January. He is a striker, and strikers are always the subject of attention in the January transfer window,” he told TMW.
