West Ham United and AFC Bournemouth are chasing AS Roma’s Edoardo Bove ahead of the summer window.
The 21-year-old is a product of the Serie A side’s youth system and was promoted to their first team in 2021.
Bove’s playing time has gradually increased and he’s been a regular since the start of this season, making 32 appearances so far. His development has caught the attention of West Ham and Bournemouth.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who explain that the Premier League duo have been tracking the midfielder this season. He’s maintained his place in the side even after Daniele De Rossi replaced José Mourinho earlier this year.
With regards to David Moyes’ side and the Cherries, it’s claimed they are ‘studying possible moves’ to secure the Italy U21 international’s services.
Last December, the midfielder signed a deal until 2028. TMW state the Giallorossi have no intention of parting ways with him, unless there’s an ‘indispensable’ offer. There’s no mention of the figure needed to please Roma.
For now, West Ham and Bournemouth are only ‘thinking about’ whether to make a move for Bove in the next window, and if they do, they’ll have to find a way to convince Roma.
