Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne’s move to West Bromwich Albion appears to be completed, with the club having informed the Turkish Football Federation of the deal.

That’s according to Haberturk, who say that the player’s impending loan move to the Hawthorns is now done.

Diagne has been heavily linked with West Brom over the last few weeks, with Baggies boss Sam Allardyce keen to add to his goal-shy forward line.

It appeared he was more focused on a move for Everton’s Cenk Tosun, but that has switched over the last few days, with them instead pushing for Diagne.

Reports in Turkey yesterday indicated that a deal was close and the player had already undergone a medical while it was claimed today he was simply waiting to finalise the move.

That now appears to be very close to happening, with Haberturk reporting that Galatasaray have ‘notified’ the TFF of the move after leaving the player out of their squad for the clash with Gaziantep FK tonight.

He will join West Brom on loan until the end of the season, who will be hoping he can hit the ground running and help them to move away from the relegation battle in the coming months.
