Barcelona are again focusing on Liverpool’s Luis Díaz, after Nico Williams snubbed them to sign a new long-term contract at Athletic Club Bilbao.

On Monday, Mundo Deportivo reported the forward is waiting for the right time to ask the Reds to sanction his sale this summer.

Bild then reported the 28-year-old has assured Bayern Munich that he’s ready to join them this summer. The German newspaper also stated the Bundesliga winners haven’t started talks with Liverpool, who are said to be open to selling him.

Later that day, the Colombia international travelled to England to start pre-season with the Premier League winners. Colombian influencer Mauricio Gómez, popularly known La Liendra, asked the forward about his future and Marca have relayed his comments.

La Liendra asked about recent rumours surrounding the possibility of Díaz leaving Anfield.

Responding to that, he said: “We’re there, negotiating. We’ll see what can be achieved, for us and for the club. We’ll try to do our best and make the best decision.”

The influencer then specifically mentioned Barcelona and Al-Nassr, but not Bayern Munich. The South American insisted that he will try to make the best decision for his career, after holding talks with Liverpool.

“We’re in the process of negotiations, talking with the club, with Liverpool, with everyone who’s approaching us. But I’m very calm where I am, you know, very happy. Trying to make the best decision, now,” Díaz explained.
