Feyenoord defender Dávid Hancko has again insisted they will talk about his future in the summer, as he continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool.

Soccer News cover comments from the defender today made to Algemeen Dagblad in which he again hints he’ll be on the move in the summer transfer window.

Hancko has been earning admirers around Europe with his performances for Feyenoord over the last two years, with Liverpool thought to be among them.

He was heavily linked with a move to Anfield last summer as Arne Slot made the switch from Feyenoord and was credited with an interest in several of his former stars as a result.

No such transfers happened but Hancko has admitted he spoke to his former manager about a move to Liverpool at one point.

The Reds have continued to be linked since, with it believed they will be busy adding and reshaping to the squad Slot inherited from Jurgen Klopp last summer. Defensive reinforcements are believed to be at the top of their wish list.

Hancko is a signing that could make sense as he can play centre-back or left-back, and he admits talks will be held about his future once the season is over.

“We will see what happens,” he said.

“Before the match against FC Groningen, Quilindschy Hartman told me in the dressing room. You never know whether these will be the last matches in that beautiful stadium. I have always been clear about it; I think it is great to be able to play for this club.

“We will talk about it in the summer. At the moment, nothing is happening. I often say it to my fellow countrymen: there are good players in the Eredivisie.”
