Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca has again been coy on his future as he continues to enjoy life on loan at Real Betis.
Mundo Deportivo cover comments from the Spaniard today in which he insists his future remains open come the summer.
He joined Betis on loan in the summer from Leeds, taking advantage of a clause in his contract at Elland Road that allowed him to leave temporarily following relegation.
He’s been impressing for Manuel Pellegrini’s side ever since and has made no attempt to hide his happiness, regularly speaking in the last few months about how happy he is, how comfortable he is and generally making it clear how he’d like to stay long-term.
Whether that happens remains to be seen, all indications are that Betis would like to do a deal and there was even a recent report that they hoped it could be done for €16m.
That would depends on what happens with Leeds this season, though, with a return to the Premier League putting them in a strong negotiating position but failure to do so likely meaning they’d need to sell.
It’s very much in the air but in the meantime, Roca has continue to share how happy he is, and the work he’s doing to be at his best this season.
“For me, returning to La Liga has been very positive in a great team like Betis,” he proclaimed he said.
“I live in the moment. These years I spent in Munich, in Leeds and now in Seville, so we’ll see what the future holds.
“I have my analyst, my psychologist, my physio, my nutritionist… I want to be the best professional.”
