Kasimpasa forward Mbaye Diagne has told the Turkish media he’ll have to see what happens with regards to his future with the club and the possibility of leaving.
The 26 year old in the past 24 hours has been linked with a move to Leeds United in the English press.
Speaking to Sabah, Diagne was asked about the possibility signing for another club: “We’ll see what happens, but there is also an option to renew my contract with Kasimpasa, but this all depends on Kasımpasa, depending on the offer from Kasimpasa, the desire of the club. Then we’ll see what happens together.”
Last night The Daily Mirror reported Leeds United are showing an interest in Diagne, but face competition from Championship rivals Hull City.
The Senegalese was in impressive form for the Turkish side last season scoring 9 goals in 17 games for the club, and this seems to have brought him to the attention of other clubs.
Marcello Bielsa will want to strengthen his squad before next month’s deadline and it seems Diagne could be an option for the Elland Road club after other targets have been difficult to secure.
There also a possibility the player could have a second spell in China.
