Watford striker Stefano Okaka could be on his way out of the club, according to reports from Italy.

Tutto Mercato Web claim the 28-year-old could make a late move in the transfer market after being left aside by manager Marco Silva, who prefers Andre Gray for the position instead.

Since signing Gray in a €20m deal from Burnley, the manager has given Okaka 63 Premier League minutes, while the English striker has played double.

TMW don’t give any likely destination for Okaka, and only mention England and Italy as possible places where he’ll play this season.

Okaka joined Watford from Belgian side Anderlecht last summer. He scored four goals in 21 appearances in his first season for the Hornets.

This season, he scored one of the goals in the 3-3 draw against Liverpool.

The end of the market is seen as the ‘last’ opportunity for the player to find a new destination and try to get a place in the 2018 Italy World Cup squad.
