Brighton & Hove Albion seem to have suddenly become a destination for players who Juventus don’t want to keep in their squad.
On Sunday morning, we covered a report from newspaper Tuttosport which said the Seagulls could sign Arthur, as they ‘inquired with interest’ about the midfielder’s transfer.
Now as Gazzetta Dello Sport also speak of Juventus’ transfer window, they link Brighton to Weston McKennie.
The midfielder is considered to be a flop at the Old Lady, especially because he couldn’t impress during his loan at Leeds United this year.
That’s why he’s getting linked to a few European clubs, and it’s now Brighton who are named as potential suitors.
As Gazzetta speak of him, they say to ‘watch out’ for the Seagulls, even though there’s no clear information if a pursuit is already taking place.
Besides Brighton, Bundesliga clubs are said to be interested in the midfielder.
It had already been strange to see Aston Villa linked to the 24-year-old last week, as they seem to stand on a level above what he’s shown lately. And the same probably goes for Brighton.
