It seems Leicester City should get prepared to welcome Victor Kristiansen back to the club at the end of the season.

As the full-back has a loan spell at Bologna, the Italian media today claims there’s no chance the Serie A side will choose to hold him after his spell.

Quotidiano today features a story explaining how Kristiansen has ‘disappointed’ in his time in Serie A so far, as he ‘never really had an impact’ at the club.

It’s said that even though the Leicester City loanee has been getting his chances to prove himself at Bologna, he hasn’t been managing to do that, so it’s ‘virtually impossible’ they’ll invest in his permanent signing.

The operation to get him purchased from the Foxes would cost the Italian club €14m, and Kristiansen would need to work against time to convince the club to do so.

Quotidiano points out that the player may also have a problem at Leicester City, as Enzo Maresca tried to change his position at the start of the season to a more central role, which didn’t go down well with the Dane.

Therefore, he may be going towards an uncomfortable situation next summer unless a new solution with Bologna is found, which could be the ideal way of resolving this for another year.
