Just a couple of days ago, we covered the Lamar Samardzic situation in Italy, and how Inter Milan and Udinese stalling talks could benefit West Ham United.
The general consensus is that the Serbian is the replacement David Moyes has in mind in case they lose Lucas Paqueta, meaning that no offer from the Hammers has been made yet, since the Brazilian is still at the club.
However, we all know that could change at any minute, especially if the Premier League champions meet West Ham’s very tall asking price, which is why the London side are lurking, according to Inter Live.
The website look at the situation, and with the deal for Samardzic between Inter and Udinese now completely collapsed, the latter of the two are waiting for what’s next.
Inter Live state that after the player returned to Udine despite undergoing his medical for the Milan side, the player is expected to stay.
That is, though, ‘barring any exceptional cases’ where the Serie A side should receive ‘further offers from abroad’.
That’s when West Ham are mentioned, and they are ‘first and foremost’ the likeliest club to come forward, as they are ‘set to lose Paqueta’.
The last part is still up for debate, since no offer has been accepted in London for the Brazilian, but it appears that the moment it does, a move will be made for Samardzic.
