Real Valladolid sporting director Fran Sánchez has admitted they would “welcome” any “good offer” that should arrive for defender Iván Fresneda as he is linked with a move to Arsenal.
Fresneda has been linked with a move to the Emirates over the course of the last week as the Gunners look to strengthen and take advantage of a superb first half of the season.
The youngster is among the highest rated in Spain after impressing since making his debut for Valladolid, with a host of clubs in Europe, particularly in the Premier League, thought to be keen on his signature.
Arsenal have pushed themselves to the front of the queue this month, with several reports in Spain and England stating that they are keen on getting a deal done.
That will require an agreement with Valladolid first but their sporting director has admitted they are more than open to negotiations with Arsenal if the right price is offered.
“We are working together with their representatives and with the clubs that have called us and I think that in the next few days their situation will be resolved.
“If there is a good offer for the club, and it makes us grow with benefits to be able to play for the club (we will accept).
“If there is a good offer for the club, and it makes us grow with benefits to be able to bring in other players, improve facilities and allow the club to grow, (it is) welcome.
“It makes us feel proud that Real Valladolid is listened to so much for having players who come from our youth academy.”
