Ivan Perisic’s future at Inter Milan beyond this season remains unclear.
According to FcInterNews, his agent Nelio Lucas has found ‘lukewarm’ interest from England and Spain, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur being named as the ‘options’ for a summer transfer.
For the Gunners to sign the 30-year-old, they will have to qualify for next season’s Champions League by winning the Europa League.
If they fail to do so, the report states Unai Emery’s side may not have enough budget to satisfy the Nerazzurri’s demand of €30-35m for the Croatian.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have put all negotiations on hold until the Champions League final against Liverpool in June.
It’s claimed Mauricio Pochettino is ‘admirer’ of the winger, but their approach depends on whether or not the former Southampton manager will be at the club next season. The Italian media love linking the Argentine with a move to Serie A.
So far, Perisic has not made a decision on his future and his representative will meet Inter’s leaders to know about their plans for his client, their goals for next season and also who will be the the Milan club’s manager.
