Tottenham Hotspur youngster Thimothée Lo-Tutala is in ‘great demand’, according to Foot Mercato.
The 18-year-old is the captain of Spurs’ U18 side and has done well for them in the U18 Premier League, keeping six clean sheets and conceding 11 goals in 13 matches.
Despite his age, Mauricio Pochettino called the goalkeeper to train with the first team during his time at the north London club.
Pochettino’s successor José Mourinho also allowed the teenager to train with the senior team before the pandemic.
Lo-Tutala has ‘won over’ everyone at the Premier League club and also in France. He was expected to receive a call up from France’s U18 squad, but health guidelines stopped him from representing his country.
Foot Mercato explain the young keeper’s contract at Tottenham will expire in the summer and Mourinho’s side have sent the ‘first offer’ for his renewal.
However, ‘big clubs in Ligue 1 and Eredivisie’ have positioned themselves for signing Lo-Tutala.
The player and his representatives, for now, are taking time to ‘study the best option’ for Lo-Tutala’s career.
