Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs chasing Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah.
That’s according to Bild, who discuss his future and the clubs that are in the picture to sign him.
Bayern Munich were keen on signing the 29-year-old in the summer but couldn’t agree a deal with the German champions.
The centre-back, who has been a regular for his club, is in his final year of contract. There are ‘enough well-known interested parties’ and Tottenham are among them.
The Germany international has ‘always openly dreamed’ about the Premier League, where Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United are tagged. These clubs are keeping tabs on his situation.
Inter Milan are also in the mix while recent claims in Italy have stated Juventus want to sign him in January. Bild relay it and add that an exit in the winter market is ‘difficult to imagine’.
It’s claimed Tah is ‘likely’ to leave as a free agent next summer. With England reportedly as his dream destination, Tottenham could be well positioned to secure his services.
Meanwhile, the German champions haven’t given up yet on renewing the player’s deal.
