Tottenham have ‘turned their attention’ towards low-cost €1.5m summer signing

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of the clubs who are interested in the Nigerian youngster Chikezie Miracle Nwaorisa.

According to website Calcio Mercato, Spurs have ‘turned their attention’ to the 18-year-old who plays for Spartaks Jurmala, from Letonia.

Nwaorisa is said to be attracting the interest from several other clubs, with Sampdoria, Villarreal and Dinamo Zagreb all sharing the race with Tottenham.

Calcio Mercato adds that the player has an estimated price of only €1.5m, which doesn’t really seem to be a problem for any of the clubs being linked to him.

The midfielder has never been linked to the Tottenham before, and there’s not really a lot of information about him around, so the club would certainly be looking at an unexpected signing.

The report also adds that between May and June, Nwaorisa will be playing the U20 World Cup in Poland, so that should be a good opportunity to watch him.
