Tottenham Hotspur have been repeatedly linked with Radu Dragusin, with the claims around the Genoa defender going back way over a month.
The Romanian’s agent has repeatedly enraged claims of interest from various clubs, including Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur. He’s talked about contact with multiple sides and whilst the agent hasn’t ruled out a Genoa stay, it’s been pretty clear he’s tempted by negotiating a big move in January.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti now reports Spurs are ‘set to complete an agreement’ with Genoa to sign the defender, and add a much-wanted extra body to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
It’s no surprise that it’s claimed personal terms have already been agreed, as that’s an easy claim given such contracts are very rarely an issue.
Galetti says there’s optimism a deal can be finalised soon, with Tottenham ready to pay €27m.
Elsewhere, La Repubblica believe Tottenham will put €30m on Genoa’s table.
And Corriere dello Sport state the asking price is €25m, so obviously something doesn’t fit right there.
The interest clearly seems to be there, even if encouraged by Dragusin’s agent, and it looks like a deal can be done.
