Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli is keen on moving to Paris Saint-Germain to relaunch his career under the orders of his former manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
Last week, Le Parisien reported Spurs have reached an agreement with PSG to allow the 24-year-old move to Paris on a dry loan deal until the end of the season.
It was also stated the attacking midfielder’s move to Ligue 1 is tied to the London club finding a replacement for him.
Calciomercato brings what they present as a fresh development on this case and they state José Mourinho’s side are ‘not moving ahead’ with negotiations to allow the England international to join PSG.
That’s because Premier League side identified Christian Eriksen as the player to replace Alli, but they are unable to sign him from Inter Milan.
It’s claimed Tottenham ‘requested’ the Denmark international, but the Serie A side have ‘opposed’ the loan transfer.
The website adds Inter will not consider allowing Eriksen to leave without an ‘definitive’ offer.
With Inter opposing Eriksen going out on loan to Tottenham, Alli is likely to stay where he is beyond the winter market.
