A few days ago France Football reported Arsenal, Chelsea and ‘especially Tottenham’ are interested in Morgan Sanson.
The 23 year old midfielder has had a good season for Marseille and fans of the club certainly wouldn’t want to see him go. But if big Premier League clubs are beginning to take a look then there could be trouble head for the French side.
Many rumours come and go during a transfer window but it’s not often that a player’s agent is willing to speak openly about a situation and confirm interest in his client.
France’s Foot Mercato contacted Sanson’s agent and will have likely been surprised with how frank he was. Michael Manuello told the website: “Chelsea will not advance more than that. They will go on to other things. Tottenham really follows Morgan. Really. Arsenal follows him too. Now, I do not know what Unai Emery will want.
There’s also interest in Italy for the footballer, but Manuello said that before anything happens it must first be found out what Marseille plan for Sanson.
It’s possible an extension could be offered, and that could be the reason why interest from Tottenham and other clubs is being so openly spoken about.
