Even without a manager, Tottenham are trying to make some signings early ahead of the new season, and the latest name to be linked is Victor Nelsson, currently at Galatasaray.
The defender is a new target for Spurs, as a number of outlets in Turkey claim movement has already been made by the London side.
Sporx were the first to bring news that Tottenham ‘have offered’ €13m for the Danish player already, but that was ‘turned down’ by the club’s director of football without him even needing to consult those above him.
That’s because ‘they have set’ the figure of €25m for a transfer, and they will ‘not sell even €1 below this’, but that hasn’t put off the Premier League side.
Sporx add that Tottenham ‘will knock’ on Galatasaray’s door once again ‘with a new offer in the coming days’ for the 24-year-old.
Meanwhile, Skorer, relayed by Asist Analiz, state that Spurs are ‘ready to pay’ the player’s €25m ‘release clause’, which therefore would suggest that the price set by the Turkish football club in Sporx’s report is one already in place in his current contract.
Either way, Tottenham are getting busy on the transfer market.
