Tottenham Hotspur have become the latest club to be credited with interest in Sevilla star Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Morocco international’s deal lasts until 2025, and the La Liga side have identified him as one of their options to raise funds before June 30th.
Tottenham are interested in signing the striker in the summer window. This is according to journalist Santi Ortega, who told Radio Sevilla, relayed by Carrusel Deportivo, that there’s ‘a lot of movement’ around the 27-year-old.
Ortega claims Tottenham are ‘pushing to take’ the Sevilla player to the Premier League, and that’s all he has to say about Spurs. He adds the Andalusian club are hoping to earn close to €30m from the player’s sale.
On Monday, Marca reported that En-Nesyri and his entourage had agreed to change clubs and that Sevilla have set a starting price of €20m, so there’s obviously some confusion over valuation.
Julen Lopetegui managed En-Nesyri at Sevilla and he’s reportedly keen on reuniting with him at West Ham United. Last week, Vamos Mi Sevilla FC stated Aston Villa have joined the battle for the Moroccan.
Tottenham are the latest club to enter the race, and there could be a potential battle involving the Premier League trio for En-Nesyri, who finished the recently concluded season with 20 goals and three assists.
