Yesterday, it was reported that AC Milan were going to have a key meeting with former Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici in an attempt to bring the Italian to the San Siro.
Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani was going to have the meeting in London and the expectation was that a total agreement will be reached.
Gazzetta dello Sport have now reported about how the meeting went and they believe that ‘Tottenham’s pressing’ is causing problems to the Rossoneri.
The two parties are yet to reach an agreement over a move for Paratici as there are still some points to be ironed out.
The report states that Tottenham’s presence in the saga is forcing Milan to accelerate their move as the 52-year-old is still informally working as a consultant for the Lilywhites despite a FIFA ban.
Speculation had also suggested that Daniel Levy had made a move to bring Paratici back to Spurs and that there was an offer on the table that warranted a quick response.
This clearly seems to have had an impact on the scenario. While Milan are the clear favourites to land the ex-Juventus sporting director, things are facing another delay.
