Over the past few weeks, it’s been made rather clear from Tottenham’s end that Tanguy Ndombélé can leave.

They still have to find the deal agreeable, but the bottom line is that the Frenchman, who has struggled with various managers at Spurs, is now available to other clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain are the ones who have taken an active interest in the player, and Julien Maynard, via a video for Téléfoot on social media, gave the latest on the situation.

He reminds the viewers that the Tottenham player ‘wants to leave’ Spurs in January and has made the Ligue 1 leaders ‘his priority’, meaning he is currently ‘pushing away offers from other clubs’.

‘Talks have already taken place’ between PSG and the London club, and ‘the ball is now in the court’ of the French side, who need an exit before they can secure the deal, ‘and not necessarily in midfield’.

It’s therefore made clear ‘the problem isn’t tied to the wages’.

As things stand, the two teams have spoken and ‘Ndombélé waits’, but if this all falls through, the midfielder ‘has another lead in Spain’.
