Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin ‘wants certainty about a starting place’ at the club moving forwards or could agitate for an exit this summer.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say the defender could once again find himself in Napoli’s sights if he pushes to leave Tottenham.
Dragusin only arrived at Tottenham in the January transfer window but has had a frustrating few months at the club as he struggled to establish himself under Ange Postecoglou.
His agent has been vocal on the matter for some time, consistently dropping hints that he and the player could push to leave Tottenham this summer if the situation doesn’t change.
Gazzetta cover that today and say the player ‘wants certainty about a starting place’ at the club or he could agitate to get a move elsewhere.
That’s where Napoli would come into it as they were keen on him before he moved to London and would be happy to sign him now if he decided to leave Spurs.
They’re set for a big summer of spending as they look set to hire Antonio Conte, who always demands backing and will likely reshape the squad, especially with the likes of Victor Osimhen expected to leave.
The belief is that he needs at least two defenders and Dragusin, who is also comfortable playing in a back three, would be seen as an idea profile.
It all depends on whether he pushes to leave Tottenham, which is very much a possibility if he and his agent don’t get their own way.
