Fiorentina have identified Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil as a target to bolster their attack in the winter market.
On Tuesday, Corriere dello Sport stated the Serie A side have initiated contact to try and sign the 22-year-old.
The Italian club are following the winger and are waiting for Tottenham to open the door.
That’s according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who states Fiorentina are aiming to sign the former Sevilla man on loan. If Spurs are willing to accept this condition, they could sign him this month.
Over at Fiorentina News, they state Tottenham are ‘open to negotiations’, even without knowing Gil’s opinion.
Journalist Rudy Galetti has backed up Gianluca Di Marzio’s claim. He says Fiorentina have asked to sign the Spain international on loan, but Ange Postecoglou’s side would prefer to sell him.
As well as La Viola, Feyenoord are also showing interest in the player, who ‘has no rush’ to make a decision on his future. Galetti adds he’s waiting for options from Spain.
On Tuesday, 1908.nl reported Feyenoord will find it difficult, but not impossible, to sign the Tottenham attacker in January.
Gil has failed to score a goal or register an assist from nine games this season.

📌 #Feyenoord are serious for him, but the player – to date – has no rush to decide his future and would prefer to wait for opportunities from 🇪🇦. 🐓⚽ pic.twitter.com/dDvOKlmk66
