Since the mistake made by Lucas Moura which gave Liverpool the win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, the Brazilian media has been full of stories about his future.
It had long been known that the attacker would leave Spurs at the end of his contract this summer, but with the window approaching, it’s nearly time for him to make a decision.
Journalist André Hernan features an update on that situation today, claiming that there are currently ‘two very strong’ places to be the new destination of the Tottenham player.
Those are the Middle East and MLS markets. They’re said to be options that Moura sees with ‘good eyes’, since they have good players, competitive football and, ‘especially’, could offer him a great contract.
Even though reports this week claimed São Paulo are still hopeful of signing him, Hernan insists that Moura hasn’t opened talks with his former club, and it’s more likely he signs for another side now and only returns to Brazil in a few years.
Moura has 17 appearances for Tottenham this season, with no goals or assists.
