Tanguy Ndombele is now on the verge of leaving Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from Turkey.
Journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu brings some ‘exclusive’ news claiming the player is set to fly off to Istanbul today.
Ndombele is expected to be at the Atatürk Airport at 8pm in local time, and shall be ready to complete his transfer to Galatasaray.
The very same journalist had already reported earlier today that the player had an agreement with the Turkish club, and was just waiting for Tottenham to accept the bid.
There is still no word as to how much Galatasaray are paying for this transfer, but considering how badly the Premier League side want him off their books, they will have accepted a far smaller fee than the €30m they were requesting from Napoli.
With most of the European transfer windows closed, there were no many other ways out for Ndombele this summer, and Spurs certainly felt pressured to take that bid.
Now it seems this saga will be over soon, with Galatasaray announcing the signing in the coming days.
Ndombele joined Tottenham on a €62m move from Lyon in 2019. He leaves the clubs with 91 appearances, ten goals and nine assists.
