Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga is currently torn between offers from Lyon and Augsburg as he decides where his next destination should be.
That’s according to journalist Gianluigi Longari, who says the defender has not made a final decision but that could come in the ‘next few hours’.
Tanganga has been linked with a move away from Tottenham for much of this summer, with it clear he is not a part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans moving forwards.
He’s been dealing with various offers over the last few weeks, with Tanganga himself seemingly set on the idea of a move to Italy for much of the transfer window.
He had been close to Torino, but that move is now off and instead it appears he now needs to decide between Lyon and Augsburg.
Longari states that those two clubs are currently the ones with ‘proposals’ on the table in front of Tanganga but he has not yet made his mind up where to go.
He needs to decide whether he wants to go to Germany or France but is working on it and Longari’s belief is that his choice ‘could arrive in the next few hours’.
It’s a situation to keep an eye on for Tottenham either way, as their overhaul under Postecoglou continues into deadline day.
