As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport today, Serie A side Inter Milan are about to choose between two midfielder targets this summer: Moussa Dembele from Tottenham Hotspur or William Carvlaho from Sporting.
The outlet has an interesting take on the Belgian international’s future, saying the longer Inter wait to bid for him, the better.
That’s because Tottenham currently have an offer from China for him, and have set his price between €25m and €30m.
The player’s staff are said to be still considering the possibility, but in case the Chinese transfer window shuts and he stays in London, then Inter would have a bigger chance in the negotiations, as they don’t want to pay that much and wouldn’t find themselves in an auction.
The newspaper even claims that Dembele could spend a few seasons at Inter, and then move to China to another club managed by Suning, Jiangsu, home of other Belgian stars like Axel Witsel and Yannick Carrasco.
