Tottenham Hotspur put their recent struggles behind them this week, as they battered Frank Lampard’s Everton.

Antonio Conte’s side won 5-0 in the home Premier League match and were dominant throughout the game. Even the Spurs manager will have been happy after the result and performance, but he’ll already be looking at how he can improve his team in the coming months.

Fichajes say Tottenham are one of the clubs who ‘opt’ for the signing of Clement Lenglet. It’s thought the defender will be available for a reasonable price at Barcelona this summer, with the Catalan club looking to bring in multiple free-agents in defensive positions.

Lenglet could therefore fit both what Tottenham are looking for, players who are available for a reasonable fee and who can still develop, and what Conte desire, players experienced enough to already perform at the highest level.

Despite seemingly being around for many years, Lenglet is still only 26-years-of-age, combining room for improvement, and increase in value, with experience.
