Earlier today, we covered claims from Germany which stated Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel.
Tottenham have stepped up their interest in the striker, who wants to leave in the winter market.
The 19-year-old is being courted by several clubs and Tottenham have made concrete advances in the past few hours.
That’s according to Le Parisien, who state Spurs technical director Johan Lange made a trip to Munich.
There are other clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea keen on signing the France U21 international. Spurs therefore have to move in quickly to convince the Bavarian club and Tel, who is yet to decide on his next destination.
The newspaper states the next few hours could be decisive for the frontman’s future.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are currently 15th in the table [below Manchester United and Chelsea], and certainly need a boost for the remaining months of the season.
Lange’s trip can help them make advances and the report states they are ready to take him on loan or even via a permanent transfer.
