Eliaquim Mangala has been strongly linked with a loan move to Serie A, with the likes of AC Milan and Napoli interested in the player.
The French international isn’t a part of the future plans of Pep Guardiola, and is looking for a new club in the final few days of the transfer window.
However, it now appears he might stay in England after all. According to L’Equipe on Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Mangala on loan.
Maurico Pochettino has apparently asked his French contacts to get information on the player’s mentality, and has received positive feedback.
L’Equipe say Tottenham have shown interest in the last ‘few hours’. but the likes of Porto, AC Milan, and Napoli remain interested, and are currently in contact with Mangala’s representatives.
It’d be interesting to see if Manchester City would want to loan Mangala to their Premier League rivals.
