With Harry Kane’s current situation at Tottenham Hotspur, many of the transfer rumours lately surrounding the club are about who could replace the English star.
A new name is said to be high on that list, as journalist Sacha Tavolieri today reports Spurs’ chase for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
On Twitter, the reporter claims that the 24-year-old is now the ‘priority’ that Tottenham have to replace Kane in the squad.
Tavolieri writes that Spurs’ interest in Muani is ‘huge’, and the talks for the striker’s move to London have ‘just started’.
It’s said that the deal would cost €80m, and even though Frankfurt had already made that request to other clubs, they’re still to tell Tottenham about that.
Still, the journalist sounds confident about the possibility, mentioning that the ENIC Group recently gave Daniel Levy the ‘green light’ for Kane’s sale.
The great news for Tottenham is that Kolo Muani is said to be ‘keen’ on making the move to Spurs, so it pretty much looks like a matter of finding an agreement with the Bundesliga side.
