Tottenham Hotspur are today linked to RB Salzburg striker Noah Okafor.
That information is brought by Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, who, on Twitter, claims there’s a race for this signing.
Besides Tottenham, the likes of AC Milan and Inter Milan are said to be ‘very interested’ in the player as well, with all three clubs having ‘inquired’ about him.
‘Poker has started’, says Plettenberg, also bringing an exciting update for those clubs, as he claims Okafor wants a move away from RB Salzburg this summer.
It’s said that the striker wants to take ‘the next step’, which is basically a green light for the interested sides to go after him, also because he now has a new agency taking care of his career.
According to the report, Okafor’s price tag is of between €20m and €25m, even though there’s no information on how much Tottenham, Milan and Inter would like to put on the table.
Featuring for RB Salzburg this season, the 22-year-old has ten goals and five assists in 30 appearances. He joined the club on a €11m move from FC Basel back in January 2020.
❗️News #Okafor: He wants to make the next step in summer! Contract until 2024. No talks about an extension. Price tag: €20-25m! New agency: Sports360.
