Tottenham are the ‘most credible solution’ for Dusan Vlahovic, although the Fiorentina striker is more likely to move in the summer than January.
That’s according to agent Stefano Antonelli, who has put Spurs at the front of the queue for the highly-rated Serbian’s signature.
Vlahovic is one of the hottest prospects in Europe at this moment in time, with a series of impressive performances for Fiorentina over the last year or so, seeing his stock rise considerably.
He is currently the top goalscorer in Serie A, another feather to his hat and something which has all the big clubs standing up and taking notice.
Tottenham are particularly keen, with them having been linked since the summer when director of football Fabio Paratici arrived at the club.
Their interest has only grown since Antonio Conte was hired as manager, with a report yesterday stating that he has put the striker on his wishlist.
Whether they can pull off a deal remains to be seen given the competition, with Manchester City also thought to be big admirers of the player.
Antonelli thinks they can do it, though, believing they are at the front of the queue at this moment in time.
“Vlahovic’s story with the Viola from a contractual point of view should be considered closed at the moment,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.
“But I expect him to leave more in the summer than in January.
“It (Tottenham) is the most credible solution. Today, Newcastle would do crazy things for a player like that, but Tottenham has much more appeal.”
