Tottenham are confident they’ll be keeping Destiny Udogie this summer, with suitors unlikely to match their demands for him.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Udogie is back at Tottenham and has the idea of further developing with the Europa League champions.

They say that while Udogie remains a player of interest and is open to considering attractive offers, Tottenham are unwilling to sell him for less than €50m.

That tallies with comments from his agent made in May in which he insisted it would take at least €50m to even tempt Tottenham into talks this summer.

Gazzetta say AC Milan had been interested but that valuation made them shift their focus to other targets. Manchester City had also considered him but instead signed Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s left Tottenham confident that Udogie is part of their future and Thomas Frank has already said he can’t wait to with the Italian this season.

Tottenham’s stance is that only a large offer or the sudden need to raise funds, after a busy summer of spending, would lead them to the letting Udogie go. The defender could also ask for a move, if encouraged by an offer that hasn’t yet arrived.

All in all, a move is now considered unlikely to happen, with the suitors moving on as Tottenham’s asking price has pushed them elsewhere.
