Having declared that he wants a centre-back in January, Ange Postecoglou could very well end up getting what he wants at Tottenham.
After all, he has enjoyed a very positive start at Spurs since taking over in the summer, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Daniel Levy ended up putting something together for his manager.
One of the names that have been heavily linked with Tottenham is that of Genoa defender Radu Dragusin, as Calciomercato explain in a video on Friday as the player prepares to face his former club, Juventus, this weekend.
They explain that many clubs have ‘come forward with conviction’ for the Romania international, even if his club will make a January exit difficult.
Tottenham are named among those teams, but will have to be very convincing if they want Dragusin in the coming weeks, as Genoa’s plan is to keep their best players until the summer.
The belief is that ‘concrete’ offers are likely to appear in the next few months for the player, but it wouldn’t be surprising if someone like Spurs, desperate for a new centre-back, go for an early attempt after ‘constantly following’ his performances this season.
That’s why he’s ‘at the top of the list’ of many clubs, including Tottenham.
