A week ago, Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen was in London to conduct talks with Tottenham, and to specifically know the club’s vision going ahead.
The Dutch international has scored 32 goals this season, and is on the wishlist of a few top European clubs.
It was earlier reported Everton, Manchester United, and Paris-Saint Germain had also scouted the player in the Eredivisie this season, and could be interested in signing him.
According to latest reports on Dutch website Voetbal Primeur, Manchester United have made an enquiry for Janssen, whilst West Ham are also prepared to splash the cash on the striker.
It is reported there is concrete interest from Tottenham, and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg also made their interest known last week.
Voetbal Primeur reckon Manchester United are following the developments closely, and Jose Mourinho sees Janssen as a ‘welcome addition’ to his squad at Old Trafford.
Tottenham are believed to be in the best position to sign Janssen, after the player visited White Hart Lane recently, and left with a positive feeling.
AZ Alkmaar have sent an asking price of €15m for Janssen, who has three years left on his current deal at the Eredivisie club.
