Galatasaray chief Erden Timur has made a trip to London to hold transfer talks with a few Premier League sides, including a chat with Tottenham Hotspur about Victor Nelsson.
On Thursday, Sporx stated the Turkish club have set a €25m price for the defender, which is why they turned down Spurs’ €13m bid. It was also stated the north London side are ready to return with an improved offer.
This is now backed up by T24 on Friday, who claim Tottenham ‘came to Galatasaray with a €25m offer’ for the centre-back. The Istanbul club are ‘working’ on his sale.
After the Premier League side had a meeting with the Denmark international, it’s claimed they have ‘reached an agreement’ for the transfer.
Galatasaray were keen to hold on to him but have now softened their stance because of the player’s ‘desire to leave’ and the ‘high income’ they can generate from his sale.
Fanatik state Galatasaray are showing interest in Tottenham’s Pape Matar Sarr. When their chief, Erden Timur, sat down for talks with the London club for the Senegalese, they also discussed Nelsson.
The report adds there’s an ‘agreement with Tottenham’ for Nelsson’s sale. After holding talks with the Dane, it’s explained that Spurs are now ‘ready to pay’ his €25m clause.
