As French outlet Foot Mercato today features a story about the midfielder of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, they bring a long list of clubs who are interested in the 25-year-old.

And it turns out that three of the interested sides belong to the Premier League, and those are said to be Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest.

The English sides, however, are just part of the competition which includes the likes of Marseille, Betis, Villarreal, Bayer Leverkusen, Milan, Napoli and Galatasaray.

What is said about Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest is that they have ‘ticked his name’ and see him as a summer target.

Still, there are not many details on potential bids to Tottenham from any of those clubs.

Ndombele is said not to be in Antonio Conte’s plans for the season, and after just returning from a loan, it seems he’ll be leaving London once again this summer.

There are actually two sides on top of Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest from that list that have ‘accelerated’ for the signing.

Those are Napoli and Villarreal, who reportedly took ‘a step forward’ and ‘intensified the talks’ with Spurs and they are both looking for a loan with an option to buy.

So if Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest would like to win this competition, perhaps trying an outright purchase is what could convince Tottenham of accepting their bids.
