AFC Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi’s agent Moussa Sissoko says he hasn’t made a final decision amid claims of interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The striker impressed in his debut season at Bournemouth, scoring 13 goals from 33 Premier League matches.
His performances and potential have seen Tottenham, Arsenal, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain compete for his signature.
Earlier this week, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain that Spurs are keen to go all out to sign the Bournemouth star. Roberto De Zerbi’s side are willing to offer close to €100m and get ahead of Arsenal and others.
The La Liga winners have identified the 20-year-old as an alternative to Atlético Madrid star Julián Álvarez.
Agent cools Tottenham and Barca links
Moussa Sissoko, the Frenchman’s representative, told 365 Scores that he hasn’t made the final decision on his future. Sport have relayed his comments.
Recent claims have talked about Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona’s interest in Eli Junior Kroupi. The agent rules out the Camp Nou side by insisting there’s been no contact or even an approach for his client.
The newspaper points out claims made elsewhere of Spurs getting closer towards signing the AFC Bournemouth player.
Sissoko insisted there is no agreement in place with Roberto De Zerbi’s side and explained claims of a ‘practically completed deal’ don’t reflect the current situation. However, Sport haven’t relayed his comments about both Barcelona and Tottenham links.
Bournemouth player yet to make decision
The France U21 international is calm as the agent says he hasn’t made the final decision on where he will play next season.
“We are still discussing his future. We’ll see what happens in the coming days; at the moment, there is no final decision,” he said.
A move to Barcelona no longer seems possible this summer. Moussa Sissoko has denied an agreement with Tottenham, without categorically ruling out Spurs as an option.
This should give the north London club hope of taking Eli Junior Kroupi away from AFC Bournemouth. His contract lasts until 2030, and Transfermarkt value him at €70m.
