Bendeguz Kovacs has been thoroughly impressive for AZ Alkmaar’s U19s side this season. The talent is now attracting interest from Aston Villa.
Calciomercato IT take a close look at the talent, who already has three goals in eight games for Hungary U19s side.
They note that the 18-year-old has ‘everything it takes’ to succeed at the highest level.
He has 17 goals in 16 games in all competitions for his club this season, finding the net four times in as many games in the UEFA Youth League.
These impressive numbers have caught the attention of Juventus, who have been monitoring him for sometime. Kovacs is now also ‘in the sights’ of Aston Villa.
The Italian side see the talent as a future replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract runs out in 2026.
There is no clarity about how much Juve or Aston Villa will have to pay but Kovacs’ numbers are certainly excellent.
The teenager was previously been at Ajax, who signed him from Debrechen in 2021.
Kovacs impressed for the Amsterdam club’s U19s side last season, scoring ten times in all competitions. He is someone to keep a eye on, if he keeps those numbers up.
