Arsenal have reportedly been in the picture to sign Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey and this has been regularly discussed in the Turkish press for the past few months.

On January 15th, Sabah reported there was ‘hot contact’ from the Gunners and the Istanbul club were ready to listen to offers.

NTV Spor state Arsenal are closely following the 23-year-old, while Paris Saint-Germain are thinking of making an official bid.

A Spor have provided a short update on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the right-back has offers from Mikel Arteta’s side, PSG and Bayern Munich. They don’t mention the details, but state the Turkish club want €30m.

A Spor commentator Levent Tüzemen states Arsène Wenger is helping the north London club in their pursuit of the Frenchman.

“Do you know what Arsenal’s influence on the Sacha Boey transfer?  Nobody knows that. The name behind the scenes of Arsenal is Arsène Wenger. He stepped in. Where is this guy from? France. The man follows that too,” he said, relayed by GS Gazete.

Multiple reports have stated Bayern have stepped up their efforts to sign the fullback in the winter market.

Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg claims the player is pushing for a move to the Allianz Arena. He adds there’s no agreement between the two clubs and negotiations are expected to continue on Friday.

Fresh reports has said the player will arrive in Germany today.

The Wenger claims may be for window dressing.
