Lucas Bergvall arrived at Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and clocked in 482 minutes from 17 games in all competitions this season.

On Sunday, the Sweden international made his first Premier League start in Spurs’ 5-0 win over Southampton and played the full 90 minutes.

This has pleased the midfielder’s former club, Djurgårdens, as they are now set to receive funds from Tottenham.

That’s at least what Fotboll Direkt are reporting, and they say ‘super bonus’ is on its way to the Swedish club.

Back in February, Tottenham agreed a deal with Djurgårdens for the 18-year-old to arrive at the north London club in the summer. The report states the deal agreed was for a fixed fee of SEK 113m [€9.8m] rising to SEK 220m with bonuses.

In other words, Bergvall’s former club could earn around €9.3m in bonuses from his sale to the Premier League side. The report claims Djurgårdens will receive SEK 35-40m [€3-3.5m] if the youngster were to start for Tottenham in the Premier League.

Bergvall made his first league start yesterday and therefore, Tottenham have to pay €3-3.5m to the Swedish club.

This is the ‘super bonus’ Fotboll Direkt are talking about and Djurgårdens could earn even more through bonuses in the future.
