Much of the talk around Tottenham Hotspur right now relates to Nuno Espirito Santo and whether he’ll be at the club for much longer.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managing to drag himself a little out of the media pit of crisis, someone had to be thrown in as his replacement, and Nuno was the obvious choice.

This has seen all kinds of claims coming from the UK and Italian media, as agents and intermediaries get to work, and guesses are made on what is happening.

Given there’s an international break coming up, it will provide something to cover during the quiet days.

But, thankfully, not all Tottenham stories are related to a potential new manager. Gazzetta dello Sport have an article on Dusan Vlahovic’s future, and Spurs are very much in the picture for his signing.

The 21-year-old has a Fiorentina contract lasting until June 2023, and has refused to sign a renewal. Therefore, La Viola are looking for a sale.

They value their player at €60-70m, an amount which is scaring off Juventus.

Given that, Fiorentina officials took a ‘mission to London’ for a ‘summit with Tottenham’, and held talks about a potential move.

Vlahovic has his ‘suitcase in hand’, report Gazzetta, yet there’s little indication on what he would make of a move to Spurs.

Inevitably, the coming days will see claims that the striker would be far more tempted if Antonio Conte was in charge.
