While the biggest news of the past few days in the Chelsea sphere has been the decision from Roman Abramovich to sell the Blues, Andreas Christensen’s future is a close second.
The Denmark international’s contract at Stamford Bridge ends at the end of the season, and it appears he isn’t overly keen on extending it.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich have both shown a lot of interest in the Chelsea man over the past few months because of this, and it appears the former of the two are in the lead.
That being said, the latest information from Germany suggests nothing is quite done just yet, as Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg brings the latest information the situation on Thursday.
Update #Christensen: Close sources to the player say that there is still no final decision. So no final „yes“ to #FCBarcelona at the moment. But this can change at any time. @SkySportsNews #CFC 🇩🇰

Taking to Twitter, he made it clear that sources ‘close’ to the player are adamant ‘there is still no final decision’ from the Dane just yet, meaning ‘no final yes’ to Barcelona.
However, ‘this can change at any time’, heavily suggesting a decision is around the corner, which could put an end to this story once and for all.
